Centerville Landscape & Irrigation

Originally named Centerville Lawn and Garden, the business first opened it's doors in 1972 by first generation owner Robert Shields while still employed at Mound Laboratories. In those days, the company focused on seeding, lawn repair, and garden roto-tilling.

When his son Tom Shields took over the business in 1982, he added irrigation installation, commercial and residential landscaping and construction projects including water features, paver patios, maintenance and landscape lighting.

The company prides itself on being a full service company; they start with a design produced by their landscape designers, hand select the finest plants and materials and their landscape craftsmen bring the design to life. They then follow up the work with continued maintenance and care.

It is not unheard of to have the same customer return with additional projects over a 15-20 year period. Many clients that engaged Centerville Landscaping to provide landscape services for their first house and are now on house two or three continue to find innovative designs and value from the services of Centerville Landscape & Irrigation.
